A famous broadcaster, Mr. Adedotun Amosun popularly called Mr. Soul, has written his former employer, Agidigbo 88.7 FM, Ibadan, to drop the programme he brought to the station, Confession Time, and its Signature Tune.
This was contained in a resignation letter Amosun sent to the station dated November 8, 2024.
It was gathered that Amosun travelled to Europe with the agreement that he would be broadcasting from there. He was surprised to hear the voice of another person on the programme.
This prompted him to turn in his resignation letter.
After resigning, Mr. Soul is asking Agidigbo Fm to drop his intellectual property -Confession Time and its signature tune
The letter reads: “Kindly accept
this letter as my formal resignation as a staff member of Agidigbo 88.7 FM. I am sorry I have to resign from Agidigbo 88.7 FM due to personal reasons.
“Technically speaking, it was a difficult decision to make, however I could not help it at this period.
“Also I want to make it known that I will appreciate the name of my
programme “Confession time” as well as my signature tune stopped on Agidigbo FM as that is my invention and I would like to keep it has such,no hard feelings”.
All efforts to get in touch with the management of Agidigbo 88.7 FM proved abortive as this paper tried to call some management staff but their numbers were not reachable.
